Macro Monday

The heirloom tomatoes are finally producing, and we are getting some lovely and unusual tomatoes.

We had these sliced tomatoes last night for dinner with our pulled pork and tangy coleslaw.  We were very impressed with all of these tomatoes but especially the White Queen in the front.  We will definitely grow these again nest year.  I wish you all could take a big bite they are wonderful. 🙂

  1. NICE! My hubby brought our Cherokee Purple plant inside and has it under a natural spectrum light in the dining room. Too hot for it to be outside. No blooms yet. A friend gave it to us in June.

  2. Oh My Heart…. I haven’t had any yellow tomatoes in years and years… My parents used to grow them —and i loved them….

But—since we can’t get any yellow ones here (at least, I haven’t seen any)—I am really enjoying the red ones this summer.. There’s just nothing better…

    Thanks for sharing.
    Hugs,

  7. I’m not a fan of tomatoes and am probably the only person alive that is allergic to raw tomatoes, especially their vines. But you ‘maters look so pretty…like succulent art. 🙂
