Sunday Stills Challenge - Big Sky

Our challenge from Ed this week was…..”So for  this challenge use the rule of thirds  and set your horizon in the bottom third of the pic and get some great sky shots. Day or night, cloudy or sunny. Cool blue or white from total cloud cover or spotty clouds. Even use sunrises and sunsets, the possibilities are endless….”

Well, this past week was totally gloomy with rain for most of five days, turning to snow on the fifth, although we only got a smig of the snow it was very overcast.  Yesterday was nice and sunny, but we were out in the car most of our day.  Ed was in Maryville/Alcoa, so we went up there to meet him for lunch and some shopping.

Here are my shots for this weeks challenge……..Ed didn’t say we couldn’t use archieves, so here are some of my favorites.  The first shot is to show you what we saw most of the week.

And, this last shot was what we saw as we drove into Maryville to meet up with Ed……looked like something from “Once Upon A Time”!!
