MACRO MONDAY
Fun with fungi and competition with Ed. Ed posted fungi today, so I wanted to do a few of mine as well. Chuck’s wood piles offer up a multitude of fungi and lichens.
We are enjoying Ed’s home visit this month, and tomorrow when it is supposed to be warmer (60 degrees) and sunny we are going to the Hiawasee Wildlife Preserve to see the Sandhill Cranes. Thousands of them migrate here every winter. I’m sure Ed and I will be posting lots of pictures.

Missed you on Sunday Stills! These are nest photos, the snail sure blends in. I like the color on the first fungi.
Have fun with your son!

Hi, Dianne! Love your pictures today (and always). I hope you & Ed have a great time photographing the Sandhill Cranes today. We had the pleasure of having a Mama, Poppa and baby Sandhill Crane on our property back by our woods & wetland this past summer. It was a first and we’ve lived here for 23-years! Needless to say we were thrilled. I have pictures but my camera doesn’t have the right lens to get close-ups when they’re about a football-field away. Dang!
